What is a Carbon Laser Facial treatment?
Carbon laser facial is a gentle face treatment that generates some amazing results and is used by many celebrities including Kim Kardashian. It has the effects of a gentle laser peel, has no downtime for you (which can be up to 2-3 weeks for laser peel), and is suitable for skin types 1-4 on the Fitzpatrick scale.
When the laser is applied to your skin you’ll feel a slightly warm and tingling sensation, it is not a painful or uncomfortable procedure. To see if you are eligible for the carbon facial treatment you'll require a consultation, which is free of charge. If we can continue with the treatment (depending on your skin type) we will have to complete a patch test first which costs £10.00.
What a Carbon Laser Facial treatment can do for you;

The Treatment
Liquid carbon paste will be applied to your face, outside your peri-orbital rim and excluding the skin close to your lips. The carbon paste will then be left to dry for around 15-20 minutes; whilst it is drying it attaches itself to dirt, oil or dead skin cells on the surface of the skin.
The paste also adheres to the lining of open pores. When the paste has been absorbed the laser will be applied to your skin; with a very short pulse it will be fired aiming at the carbon paste. When it interacts with the carbon paste it will make the paste vaporise together with the dead skin on your face. When the paste is vaporised, slight heat is generated, which penetrates the dermis slightly leading to collagen denaturation. When denaturation occurs it “freezes” the collagen and elastin fibres for a short time before they start to regenerate that can lead to the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
Immediately your skin will appear fresher and the pore size reduced. With the first treatment you’ll often see that blackheads and whiteheads are removed.
Carbon Laser Facial Aftercare
Where possible we advise to leave the skin to breath until the next morning, allowing our products to absorb and protect. Before bed you can cleanse the skin with cotton pads and warm water to remove any of the days dirt . It is advised that you use a sun protection cream after treatment during the day with a minimum SPF30. A course of 6 sessions spaced 2 weeks apart is recommended for best results, maintenance treatments are also advised once a month or before a big event thereafter.
30 Day Rule
The 30 day rule means that the client cannot have laser treatment on a particular area if that area has been exposed to sun without the protection of an SPF 30 cream. Sun exposure must not have occurred in that area 30 days prior to a treatment, or due to occur within 30 days of the treatment being carried out.

• Psoriasis • Vitiligo • Lupus disease • Active tan (see thirty day rule) • Pacemaker • Clotting disorders • Anti inflammatory medication
Carbon Laser Facial treatment Cost
Consultations are free of charge - a short one on one with the laser technician to see if you are suitable for treatment.
Patch tests are charged at £10. 00. We must perform a patch test first to see what suits your skin best. For skin types 1-3 the first treatment can be performed just 24-48 hours after the initial patch test, whilst the first treatment for skin type 4 can only be done after a minimum of 14 days.
Full face treatment costs just £75.00 per session .
- If you choose to purchase a course of 6 treatments up front, the price for the course of treatments is £375.00 (a saving of £75.00).
You can also choose to target specific areas, at a cost of £30.00.
For example some clients have concerns about pore size and fine lines in their t-zone; forehead and nose. Treatment for the two areas would cost £60.00.
